New Products Mar 13, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

JP Holdings Inc. (Santa Clarita, CA) announced its new Power Up™ line of wall outlet receptacles, which provide low-voltage dc current from any receptacle wired to provide ordinary 110Vac house current. The new Power Up™ models can either replace a traditional wall receptacle or plug directly into the existing receptacle, and provides both 110Vac and 12Vdc.

The Power Up™ line is suitable for, and features, 12V elctrical outlets, 12V phone jack outlets, four-gang electrical outlets, 110V electrical outlets, wall switches, surge suppressors, and adaptor modules. The line also features flip-down prongs for travel, tamper-resistant caps, an aesthetic design, and a modular design for custom configurations, and is suitable for many applications, including conversion for homes, hotels, hospitals and businesses.

Power Up™ will soon have models available for adaptation to European AC current (up to 240V).
