JOYNet Ent. Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) released the new TDC-042D dc power jacks, suitable for A/V devices, which come with silver-plated shunt and tip terminals and center pins, and operate at up to 5,000 cycles. The connectors have a contact resistance of -50 milliohms (initial), a dielectric strength of 500 Vac for 1 min, and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms.
