Intersil Intros ISL5627/5727/5827/5927 DACs

Intersil Corp. (Milpitas, CA) introduced four new high-speed, dual digital-to-analog converters (DACs), the eight-bit ISL5627, the 10-bit ISL5727, the 12-bit ISL5827 and the 14-bit ISL5927. Each IC contains two high-performance DACs that operate up to 260 million samples per second.

The new converters offer high precision, single-supply operation and a low power consumption for conversion of high-speed digital data to high-accuracy analog. Target applications include 3G cellular infrastructure, broadband wireless access, satellite communications, high-resolution imaging, medical equipment and test instrumentation.

The new DACs are fully supported with technical documentation, evaluation platforms, technical support and an online Test DriveSM service that allows customers to evaluate the DAC and ADCs without the time and expense of utilizing engineering and laboratory resources.
