Interpoint Presents New SMRT DC-DC Converters
Interpoint (Redmond, WA), part of the Electronics Group of Crane Aerospace and Electronics, announced a new dc-dc converter, the SMTR triple-output converter, which is the first space converter with three outputs. The fully isolated dc-dc converter operates from a 28 V nominal bus and provides three outputs of +5 V and either +12 V or +15 V.
The SMTR triple products contain all the features associated with the SMTR family. The full operating temperature range is –55 °C to +125 °C, case. The hermetically sealed case measures 1.95 in x 1.35 in x 0.405 in (49.53 mm x 34.29 mm x 10.29 mm) as non-flanged, or is available flanged for easier mechanical mounting. Three screening levels of O, H or K (referenced to MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38534) are offered, along with two radiation hardness levels of O or R (100 kRads).
The SMTR converter is available now with prices starting at $2,500 each in quantities of 100.
