Innoveta Debuts New Dualeta DC Converter

Innoveta Technologies Inc. (Plano, TX) introduced the new Dualeta™, expanding its line of iQA dual-output, quarter-brick, dc/dc converters and increasing the output rating from 15A to 24A total current. The new products offer output-voltage combinations between 1.0V and 3.6V, with a total load up to 24A. Output power may be as high as 80W, doubling the power rating of industry-standard 3.3V/2.5V products. The products complement the existing iQA product line, which covers voltage combinations between 1.5V and 5.5V, with total-load currents up to 15A. All iQA products accept a wide range 36V to 75V input.

The Dualeta converters meet industry-standard dimensions and pin-out for a

dual-output quarter-brick at 2.3in x 1.5in x 0.5in (58mm x 38mm x 12.7mm). The iQA pin-out

allows for two different output-voltage trim options. The standard product offers dual trim pins, providing independent adjustment of either output over a wide range. The second trim pin is placed to allow for easy dual footprints with single trim pin products. The optional industry-standard tracking adjustment uses a single adjust pin,

with both outputs adjusting up or down by the same percentage, over a ±10 percent range.

The iQA Series includes on/off control and options for independent output trim or tracking trim. The Dualeta products are fully protected, through auto-recovery, input over-voltage and under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and output over-voltage circuits. The Dualeta Series is tested to EN60950 for basic insulation.
