ICE Components Inc. (Manassas, VA) introduced its LP03 Series inductors for high-current output choke applications. The new low-profile, 4.5mm device provides high current densities, and the use of distributed gap material provides a softer roll-off of inductance at saturation and is more efficient in today’s high DC bias environments. Applications include high-current dc/dc or ac/dc power supplies, distributed power systems in telecommunication networks, and servers.
The series is available in 15 inductance values ranging from 0.10µH to 11µH, and features saturation currents over 100A. The robust design is rated for operation up to 155°C and has a flat top for pick-and-place manufacturing.
