Hylink Releases High-Surge Protection Varistors

Hylink Technology Co. Ltd. (China) has expanded its series of high-surge protection varistors with the release of its HL1812ML150A, HL1812ML180A, HL1812ML220A, HL2220ML150A, HL2220ML180A and HL2220ML220A. The models feature a typical capacitance of 9,300pf, 8,500pf, 6,200pf, 21,200pf, 17,700pf and 14,500pf, respectively at 1KHz.

The HL1812ML150A and HL2220ML150A varistors feature working voltages of 8Vrms and 11Vdc, and a breakdown voltage of 15V at 1mA. The HL1812ML150A has a peak current of 800A, clamping voltages of 5A and 25V, and energy absorption of 1.8J. The HL2220ML150A has a peak current of 1,200A, clamping voltages of 10A and 25V, and energy absorption of 4.2J.

The HL1812ML180A and HL2220ML180A have 11Vrms and 14Vdc working voltages, and a 15V breakdown voltage at 1mA. The HL1812ML180A features a peak current of 800A, clamping voltages of 5A and 30V, and energy absorption of 1.9J. The HL2220ML180A has a 1,200A peak current, 10A and 30V clamping voltages, and 5.4J energy absorption.

The HL1812ML220A and HL2220ML220A feature working voltages of 12Vrms and 16.5Vdc, and a breakdown voltage of 22V at 1mA. The HL1812ML220A has a peak current of 800A, clamping voltages of 5A and 36V, and energy absorption of 2.3J. The HL2220ML220A features a peak current of 1,200A, clamping voltages of 10A and 36V, and energy absorption of 5.8J.
