Glary Power Debuts CPQ Series DC/DC Converters

Glary Power Technology (Taichung, Taiwan) introduced its 1.8V/60A CPQ Series of industry-standard, quarter-brick, dc/dc converters, which feature a reduced height of 0.34in (8.6mm), a high current density of 53A/in³, and a high conversion performance of 90.0 percent at 40A and 89 percent at 60A. The devices are mounted on metal-core PCB to eliminate hot spots, delivering a rated current across the input-voltage range of 36V to 75V, with a –40 to +100 degrees C base temperature range.

The modules feature a 2.0kVdc isolation rating between the primary to secondary, and are designed to meet international safety standards, including EN60950 and CSA/UL60950, and provide full protection functions such as over-voltage protection and input under-voltage lockout. The devices offer an output-voltage trim facility that enables the output to be adjusted between 90 percent and 110 percent of nominal.

Available now, the devices are priced at $98 each in 1,000-unit quantities.
