Endicott Research Group Inc. (ERG, Endicott, NY) introduced the 8mAD Series of dc/ac inverters, which are designed for powering 10.4in and 12.1in LCDS that are backlighted by a pair of CCFLs. The devices have a profile <9mm, exhibit high efficiency and can be dimmed to <5 percent of its duty cycle. The devices also feature on-board connectors and can be dimmed using an external analog control signal or external PWM generator.
