Energizer Launches New Portable Battery-Driven Power Packs for Cell Phones, Portable Games And iPods®

Energizer, Inc. announced the launch of Energizer® Energi To Go™, portable battery-driven devices that supply power to the majority of today's wireless phones, portable gaming devices and the Apple iPod®.

The Energi To Go product line includes a two-battery Energi To Go Instant Cell Phone Charger and a four-battery Energizer Energi To Go Power Pack for audio and gaming devices. The Energi To Go Instant Cell Phone Charger is the only cell phone charger that combines the power of Energizer® e2® Lithium AA batteries with a patented intelligent control chip that maximizes power transfer from the charger to the phone.

The new cell phone chargers can power 80% of the cell phone brands available in the United States. Phone tip connectors are available to fit approximately 100 phone models across top manufacturers, and include most Nokia, Motorola, Sprint, and Samsung cellular phones and mini USB devices, including Razr, Slvr and the Blackberry. The MSRP for the Energizer Energi To Go Cell Phone Charger is $19.99, and includes the reusable charger, the phone tip connector and two Energizer e2 Lithium AA batteries. Both four-battery power packs will retail for $29.99 each, and will include the reusable charger, a smart tip and four Energizer e2 Lithium AA batteries.

Energizer Energi To Go products will be available at mass food and drug retailers nationwide on September 1 through mass market retailers.
