Diotec Debuts S1/S2/S3 Series SMD Rectifier Diodes

August 08, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

Diotec Semiconductor AG (Heitersheim, Germany) debuted its new S1 to S3 Series of SMD rectifier diodes that offer burst pulses up to 2 kV. The rectifiers are suitable for applications in industrial power lines or in high-frequency, switch-mode power supplies where industry-standard 1,000 V types are not sufficient. The new S1/S2/S3 SMD diodes offer nominal currents of 1 A to 3 A, and reverse voltages of 1,300 V up to 2,000 V.

Assembled in SMA, SMB, and SMC (DO-214xx) flatpak outline packages, the rectifier diodes complete the existing range in Melf packages (DO-213AB).
