Delta Electronics Intros Delphi Q48DR DC Converter

Delta Electronics Inc. (Chungli, Taiwan), a leader in power systems technology and manufacturing, introduced the newest addition to its Delphi Series of board-mounted, dc-dc power converters, the Q48DR quarter-brick, dual-output, 48 V input, isolated dc-dc converter, which offers performance in a quarter-brick package by providing two independently regulated, high-current outputs. The Q48DR provides up to 100 W of power, or two independent 15 A of output currents in an industry-standard footprint. The Q48DR offers an optional trim pin for independently trimming the two outputs.

The Q48DR converter operates from a wide input voltage of 36 V to 75 V, and the range of outputs include 3.3 V/5 V, 2.5 V/3.3 V, 1.8 V/3.3 V, 1.5 V/3.3 V and 1.2 V/3.3 V. The Q48DR quarter-brick units offer high efficiencies of up to 88.5 percent at full load, a maximum ripple and noise of 50 mV peak-to-peak, and industry-standard pin out.
