Datel Intros UHE Series Q Models DC/DC Converters

Datel Inc. (Mansfield, MA) announced the release of the Q models in the UHE Series of dc/dc converters that accept inputs of 9V to 36V (Q12) and 18V to 75V (Q48). Features include full I/O fault protection such as input over-voltage and under-voltage shutdown, output over-voltage protection, output-current limiting, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. All models are certified to the basic insulation requirements of UL/EN60950.

Available in a 40.64mm x 50.8mm x 10.16mm fully encapsulated plastic, the converters operate at efficiencies of up to 90 percent and deliver 25W to 30W of power. The converters offer outputs of 3.3V (7.5A), 5V (5A), 12V (2.5A) or 15V (2A) and produce 50mVpp of noise.
