CSB Battery Debuts GPL-121000 Series Batteries

CSB Battery Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) introduced the GPL-121000 Series of sealed lead-acid batteries that are designed for use in uninterruptible power supply systems. They have a life expectancy of 10 years under normal float-charge conduction at 25 degrees C.
The UL-rated batteries provide a low self-discharge rate, maintenance-free operation and leak-proof construction. Measuring 342mm x 175mm x 216mm and weighing 36kg, they incorporate six cells, with each cell rated at 12.9V. They offer a total nominal capacity of 100Ah.
The maximum discharge current is rated at 0.8kA (5s). They exhibit an internal resistance of 7 milliohms and accept a maximum charging current of 30A. The float charging voltage is from 13.5Vdc to 13.8Vdc.
