Compact CAN Transceiver Modules with 2500Vdc Isolation

Mornsun has added the single-channel, high-speed CAN isolation transceiver modules TD301MCAN / TD501MCAN. The series' main function is to convert TTL / CMOS level to CAN bus differential level, and achieve signal isolation, which is integrated with power isolation, signal isolation, CAN transceiver and bus protection inside.

These transceiver modules include an isolated power supply and provide 2500Vdc electrical isolation. The TD301MCAN / TD501MCAN series are 40% smaller than previous-generation products, which make it more easily embedded in user device, the device can easily achieve CAN bus network connectivity.

With rapid development of intelligent electronics, CAN bus designs can suffer from bandwidth limitations. To address the problem, the TD301MCAN / TD501MCAN series is an alternative which upgrades TD-MCAN series and further promote data transmission rate to 5Mbit/s.

The two series come in a same package and both are pin-compatible, which make it convenient for customers to choose according to system’s communication protocol. They are suitable for automotive electronics, instrumentation, and similar applications.

Features include: Meet ISO 11898-2standard/ISO 11898-5 physical layer standard; Isolation of 2500Vdc (input and output terminal are mutually isolated); Bus timeout protection; Baud rate high up to 5Mbps (TD-MCANFD) / 1Mbps (TD-MCAN); Operating temperature of -40 to +105 degrees C; Suitable for 12V or 24V systems; Compact size, standard DIP8 package.
