Chenyang Electron Debuts ED-48 AC/AC Adapter

Jiangsu Chenyang Electron Co. Ltd. (China) announced its new ED-48 ac/ac adapter, which accepts an input of voltage of 120Vac and steps it down to an output of 18Vac, and is designed for use in telecommunications equipment, PC peripherals, portable electronics and industrial control systems.

The device features a step-down voltage transformer, a rectifier circuit and voltage regulation circuitry to stabilize the output voltage at the required level. The ED-48 has an output current of 800mA and is rated at 32W. The devices have an operating frequency range of 50Hz to 60Hz.
