Central Semiconductor Intros CMSSH-3E Series Schottky Diodes

Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced its new CMSSH-3E Series of enhanced-specification, fast-switching schottky diodes that are available in four device configurations. All devices in the series feature an improved maximum-rated, peak repetitive, reverse voltage of 40 V and a maximum-rated, continuous forward current of 200 mA. In addition, the CMSSH-3E Series has a maximum forward-voltage drop of 0.42 V and a fast switching speed of 5 nsec.

The new semiconductor series has been designed for portable hand-held electronic products requiring performance and reliability in a small surface-mount package. The CMSSH-3E Series are packaged in the SUPER miniT SOT-323 surface-mount case, and require 38% less circuit board space than similar devices packaged in a standard SOT-23.

The new devices are available in bulk pack or in 3,000-piece quantities on 7 in tape-and-reel. Pricing starts at $0.10 each for 3,000 pieces on a 7 in reel. Sample devices are available upon request directly from Central Semiconductor.
