Central Semiconductor Intros 6263 Series Diodes

January 17, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced the release of the new 6263 Series of high-voltage, low-current, low VF schottky diodes. Manufactured in a wide variety of SMD packages, the 6263 Series offers designers a higher 70V VRRM plus a desirable 410mV maximum forward-voltage drop.

The new series includes the CMPD6263 Series in the industry-standard SOT-23 case and the CMSD6263 Series in the approximately 30 percent smaller SOT-323 case. The two series are available in single-diode (6263), dual-common anode (6263A), dual-common cathode (6263C) and dual in-series (6263S) configurations.

Also included in the new family is the CMDD6263 single-diode version in the SOD-323 case, the CMOD6263 single-diode version in the SOD-523 case, the CMKD6263 triple-isolated schottky diodes in the SOT-363 case and the CMKD6263DO with two opposing polarity diodes in the SOT-363 case.

The devices are available in bulk pack or 3,000 pieces on 7in tape-and-reel. Sample devices are available upon request. Prices for the various devices range from $0.12 to $0.14 each on a 3,000-piece 7in reel.
