C&D Technologies Intros 4000/4100 Series Inductors

C&D Technologies Inc. (Tucson, AZ) introduced two series of surface-mount inductors, 4000 and 4100 Series, which offer current ratings up to 8.1A and dc resistance values down to 14 milliohms. Designed for switching power supplies and dc/dc converters, the 4000 and 4100 Series of inductors employ a toroidal construction to ensure low leakage flux.

The 4000 Series measures 14.1mm x 14.22mm x 8.76mm and offer inductance values from 3.3µH to 330µH, while the 4100 Series measures 16.76mm x 17.53mm x 9.91mm and has inductances between 2.7µH to 330µH. The surface-mount devices feature UL 94V-0 packaging materials and are fully pick-and-place compatible. Pricing begins at under $1 each in OEM quantities.
