Beta Dyne Releases Q150S Series of Low-Noise 150W 4:1 Input DC/DC Converter

Beta Dyne Inc. announces the release of the Q150S Series DC/DC Converter. It is a 150 Watt Low-Noise with 4:1 input range which accepts 9 to 36VDC or 18 to 72VDC input and generates all standard isolated outputs from 3.3 to 24Vdc. Custom output voltages and input voltage ranges can be accommodated.

The design of the converter is based on Beta Dyne's patent featured forward topology with active clamp output synchronous rectification and external synchronization. Other standard features include Low-Noise, input to output isolation, short circuit protection (hiccup), thermal protection, and +/-10% output adjustment range.

The converter comes packaged in a 2.56 x 3 x .75 inch coated copper case that provides excellent thermal conductivity and six-sided shielding with the plated header. The standard operating temperature range is -40°C to +75°C for industrial applications. Extended operating temperature range of -45°C to +85°C is available for military applications.
