APC Announces New DH Family of DC-DC Converters

Advanced Power Conversion plc (APC, Farnborough, England) announced its new DH family of 1 in x 2 in dc-dc converters, which are suitable for distributed power systems, telecom, aerospace, defense, industrial and control applications. Custom designs are also available. The DH range includes over 240 standard models of 25 W and 50 W in single, dual, triple and quad outputs.

Operating at a frequency of 300 kHz, the DH series features an industry-standard footprint of 25.4 mm x 50.8 mm (1 in x 2 in), an operating PCB temperature range of –40 °C to +105 °C, a profile of 7.62 mm (25 W model), a profile of 11.43 mm (50 W model), an output voltage range from 1.2 V to 80 Vdc, voltage input range options of

18 V to 36 V and 36 V to 75 V (2:1 input voltage) and 18 V dc to 75 Vdc (4:1 input range), and efficiency of typically 88% (2:1 input version) and 85% (4:1 input range).
