AMREL Introduces New 800W Bench-Top Electronic Load
American Reliance, Inc. (AMREL) introduced their new 800W eLoad Bench-top Electronic Load (BPL). The 800W BPL is AMREL’s newest "CUSTOMER DRIVEN" programmable power product to address the growing trends in digital power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy requiring more advanced and sophisticated T&M Equipment. AMREL claims that its eLoad BPL offers the industry’s highest current rating.
According to the company, until now, existing bench-top dc electronic load solutions only offer distributed features and capabilities, with one solution providing high current and high power ratings yet sacrificing accuracy and resolution, or another offering full features and fast response while compromising power and current handling capability. AMREL claims that it consolidates key features and parameters into a single 3U box by via the 800W eLoad BPL.
The 800W eLoad BPL offers two models, 60Vdc/200Adc and 600Vdc/30Adc. While offering what the company claims is the industry’s highest current rating, the eLoad BPL embeds an ultra-low current range providing precision, resolution, and accuracy for low power and current requirements. The eLoad BPL offers full features, such as in-rack closed-cased calibration, 8 transient + 4 static operating modes, embedded RS-232/GPIB/USB/Ethernet connectivity, LabView/LabWindows Drivers and the newest addition, AMREL’s Virtual Panel, to provide customers with smart value, increased ROI, and reduced start-up time in an one-box bench-top solution.
The eLoad BPL is targeted for the R&D/lab, production, Q/A and testing sectors of the semiconductor, telecom, battery/energy storage, fuel cell, power electronics, ATE, automotive, as well as defense and military markets. General applications include, but are not limited to, ac-dc power supplies/dc-dc converters, POL, fuel cells, batteries/chargers/energy storage/ultra-capacitors, power electronics/components testing, and other dc power testing applications.
