Advance-Galatrek Launches LineUPS DLB Series

May 23, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Advance-Galatrek (UK) unveiled its microprocessor-controlled LineUPS® DLB Series of line-interactive, sinewave, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Featuring line-interactive circuitry, the LineUPS DLB is suitable for applications where space is at a premium, and purchasing and operating costs need to be taken into consideration, but where performance cannot be compromised.

With capacities ranging from 500VA to 2kVA, the LineUPS DLB also features a built-in, wide-input, automatic voltage stabilizer, which smooths out mains voltage problems such as sags, surges and brownouts, each of which can cause disastrous failures in sensitive computing and communications hardware. The LineUPS DLB operates as a line-interactive UPS, automatically switching to battery mode when the input voltage falls outside acceptable parameters. The LineUPS is tolerant to input-voltage variations, reducing the number of times that the UPS needs to deploy its own batteries, helping to improve battery life and maintain maximum capacity.

Each LineUPS DLB model is available as a floor-standing or wall-mounted unit, with the option of a 19in rack-mounting configuration.
