Acute Power Debuts STM Series DC/DC Converters

March 03, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Acute Power Inc. (Attleboro, MA) announced its new STM Series of dc/dc converters, which provide three configurable, tightly regulated low-voltage outputs. Output channels are of synchronous rectification, single-frequency and paralleled switch configurations for optimal efficiency.

The new STM Series features triple low-voltage outputs; high-efficiency configuration; a standard footprint of 2.30in x 1.45in; input voltages of 12V (9V to 18V), 24V (18V to 36V) and 48V (36V to 75V); currents of 0.50A to 10.0A; three configurable outputs (1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 3.3 and 5); single switching frequency; a wide input range of 2:1; remote on/off; external trim; under-voltage lockout; -40 to +105 degrees C operation; over-voltage and short-circuit protection; and 1,500Vdc isolation.
