800VA Fan-Cooled Inverter for Military Vehicles

Nova Electric, division of Technology Dynamics Inc. announced the launch of the NGL-600W pure sinewave dc-ac inverter as part of its NGL inverter series. This ruggedized and lightweight inverter is rated 600W/800VA for military vehicle applications.

This vehicle mounted pure sinewave output works from a wide range input of 18- to 32-Vdc and delivers 115-Vac 60Hz, an additional version of this model can deliver 230-Vac 50Hz. The unit features over voltage, over temperature, and over load protection. This unit is distortion free with less than 2% total harmonic distortion. The unit can also supply high peak current to loads that start with high inrush.

EMI filtering contained in the unit is intended to provide MIL-STD-461E compliance while the construction enables it to meet MIL-STD-810 for 20G shock and vibration for vehicle applications. The unit is also equipped with a ground fault interrupt for safety.

The unit measures 14” L x 10.5” W x 3.5” H and weighs 9.5lb. Cooling is done by internal fan with an air filer. Delivery is 8 weeks.
