Aimtec announces the release of the AMEOF5-JZ series of ac-dc converters. This new series of regulated converters is available in 5-Watt configurations and is packaged in a miniature open frame SIP14 measuring 1.65 x 0.54 x 0.79 inches (42.00 x 13.65 x 20.00 mm). Features include: input-to-output isolation of 3000 Vac, over current, over voltage and continuous short circuit protection and no-load power consumption less than 0.5 Watt.
The standard models are available with 3.3-, 5-, 9-, 12-, 15- and 24-Vdc output, with an universal input of 85- to 264-Vac, 47 to 63Hz, or 100- to 400-Vdc. Operational temperature range of all models is -25 to 85 degrees C with full power range of 0 to 55 degrees C.
These new ac-dc power converters are designed to expedite and simplify industrial and commercial product design in a highly affordable solution while offering the smallest possible footprint. Target applications include smart lighting controls, building automation, test equipment, security systems and high-voltage PSUs.
