1W SIP Industrial DC-DC Converters

Mean Well has unveiled a new single-output regulated dc-dc converter. The new SPA01 1-Watt converters are designed to fulfill the low cost application demands for miniature dc-dc converters. This series adopts the SIP6 single in line package and the industrial standard pin assignments. Compared to the current 1W regulated product SPR01 series, SPA01 series has a wider Vdc input range (which is 2:1) , wider operating temperature range, better working efficiency (79%) and the up to 1500Vdc input/output isolation making it very suitable for industrial control, telecommunication industry and the distributed power architecture related applications.

These converters are offered with output voltages of 5-, 12-, or 15-Vdc with maximum current ratings of 200-, 83-, and 67-mA, respectively. They deliver full rated power from -40 to 85 degrees C and derate linearly to zero at 100 degrees C. They have a MTBF of 500Khrs minimum (per MIL-HDBK-217F, calculated at 25 degrees C).
