Toyota to Display Fine-X Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicle

Toyota Motor Corp. (Nagoya, Japan) reported that it is planning to unveil a new fuel cell hybrid vehicles at the Tokyo Motor Show on October 22, 2005. The new Fine-X vehicle will feature on-the-spot rotation, four-wheel independent drive, four-wheel independent steering, and electric in-wheel motors housed in each of the four wheels.

The car measures 3,860 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width, and 1,550 mm in height. The four-seater car will have a special carbon neutral system and will be equipped with the latest IT/ITS peripheral-monitoring technology for an easy driving experience. The company is also claiming that the Fine-X will be providing more interior space than the previous environmentally friendly cars that have come out of its assembly line.
