Three Professional Societies to Sponsor PEDAC 2005

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) have all become endorsing sponsors of the Second Annual International Conference on Power Electronics for Distributed and Co-Generation (PEDAC), which will be held June 27-29, 2005, at the Sheraton Novi-Detroit in Detroit, MI, by the Darnell Group Inc. (Corona, CA).

"We strongly believe that commercial development of distributed and cogeneration technologies will strengthen not only the energy security of our country, but will also directly result in new engineering employment and produce growth in the manufacturing sector," stated Darnell Group President Jeff Shepard. The three-day international conference will serve an audience of decision makers who are interested in learning about and contributing to the latest commercial advancements and anticipated future developments related to power electronics for DCG systems. Delegates are expected to include: power conversion company executives and engineers, utility and energy company professionals and engineers, component and energy suppliers, alternative energy equipment executives and engineers, distributed power system professionals and engineers, research and development professionals, and industry/financial analysts.
