Sustainable Energy to Introduce “bi-direx” Energy Storage Inverter to Japan

July 23, 2013 by Jeff Shepard

Sustainable Energy Technologies Ltd. announced today that it will introduce its "bi-direx" energy storage inverter at the Renewable Energy 2013 Exhibition in Tokyo Japan, July 24 - 26, 2013. Bi-direx is a bi-directional smart grid inverter designed specifically to connect low voltage battery and fuel cell systems to the power grid with very high conversion efficiencies. Sustainable Energy's business model is to partner strategically in high growth markets to create high value added energy storage solutions for smart grid and micro-grids by delivering a software configurable platform that allows maximum control over inverter functionality to simplify system design, reduce cost and maximize speed to market.

Integration of renewable energy sources and microgrids will be significant topics of discussion at Darnell’s Energy Summit to be hosted in Dallas, Texas, September 9-13, 2013. In Europe, the bi-direx inverter is powering the market leading Sonnebatterie by Prosol Invest Deutschland GmbH, which was recently introduced to the North American market at Intersolar North America in San Francisco July 9 - 11 2013.

"We are excited with the very positive industry feedback on the bi-direx platform at Intersolar North America," said Michael Carten CEO of Sustainable Energy. "We are on plan in Europe with a very strong partnership, and the Intersolar outcomes look to put us ahead of plan for North America."
