Splashpower Ltd. (Cambridge, UK), developers of a unique, wireless power recharging technology, announced an evaluation program with Celltronix Ltd. (Hong Kong), manufacturers of custom power solutions. Under the evaluation program, Celltronix will work with Splashpower to integrate the new charging technology into a range of battery packs for mobile phones, PDAs and Bluetooth enabled devices.
Typically the size of a mouse mat, a SplashPad™ can simultaneously recharge a number of mobile devices simply by resting them on the pad. The first consumer products incorporating the technology should be in the shops around the end of the year.
