Exxelia USA has acquired RAF Tabtronics LLC, a leader in the design and manufacturing of custom electromagnetic transformers, inductors, coils and power conversion assemblies. RAF Tabtronics has manufacturing facilities in Deland, FL and Geneseo, NY with manufacturing partners in Central America, Caribbean and Asia. RAF Tabtronics is AS9100C and ISO 9001:2008 certified, and is registered with the DDTC for ITAR products. The capabilities of RAF Tabtronics are complementary to the offerings of the Exxelia Group - a leader of Magnetic products with facilities in France, USA, Vietnam and Morocco operated by its Exxelia Microspire division.

Robert Malkani, Chairman and CEO of RAF Tabtronics said "I am very pleased with this acquisition; it gives RAF Tabtronics worldwide recognition and a strong platform to meet the mission critical needs of all Customers on a much larger scale." Mr. Malkani will participate in the transition and will then enjoy a well deserved retirement.

James Tabbi, who has been with the Company for 26 years, initially as President of Tabtronics Inc., and then as President and COO of RAF Tabtronics LLC will become President and CEO of Exxelia RAF Tabtronics LLC. James will be responsible for the development of all the magnetic product lines of the Exxelia Group for the Americas.

With the continuing growth of the Exxelia Group and to unite all of its divisions into a common identity, the brand image of the Group was recently unified and modernized. Dearborn Electronics Inc. division of the Exxelia Group will change its name to Exxelia Dearborn Inc. This will be a change in name only and will not affect any other aspect of Dearborn Electronics.
