QUANTUM Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. (Irvine, CA) announced the appointment of Alan Niedzwiecki as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Niedzwiecki was appointed president in February 2002 and has been serving as the chief operating officer since November 2001.
