Power Paper Joins Microsoft RFID PAC

Power Paper Ltd. (Tel Aviv, Israel), a provider of thin and flexible micro-power source technology and devices, has been invited by Microsoft Corp. to join the Microsoft radio frequency identification (RFID) Partner Advisory Council (PAC) focused on RFID technology solutions. The group, which includes leaders in the industry, looks at RFID requirements and how to best take advantage of today's technology to simplify the tracking and shipping of merchandise, and make supply chain management more effective and efficient.

"We are very excited about joining the Microsoft RFID Council," said Power Paper CEO Shalom Daskal. "This collaborative effort is critical to making available open standard technologies and addressing industry needs for RFID solutions. We applaud Microsoft for this initiative."
