Mechanical Technology Inc. (MTI, Albany, NY) unveiled its new micro fuel cell prototype almost two months earlier than expected. MTI President William Acker said the company had worked aggressively on the device, which was originally scheduled to be unveiled in May.
"Reduced size and increased performance are both very important in order to advance to mass commercialization, and this prototype moves us closer to the milestone for our September prototype," Acker said.
