MGE UPS Systems Inc. (Costa Mesa, CA), a developer of high-availability power solutions, announced the expansion of its MGE IT Services to include installation and startup of its EX RT on-line, double-conversion, single-phase family of 5 kVA, 7 kVA, and 11 kVA uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). MGE IT Services is bringing its installation and startup expertise to the network arena in order to assist IT and facility managers with a fast and seamless commissioning of the EX RT UPS.
Providing extended battery backup time, the flexible modular design of the EX RT provides the ability to add power protection modules in high-density rack or stand-alone tower configurations for server room, testing, and/or manufacturing environments. The UPSs provide high-availability power protection through advanced features, such as hot-swappable power and battery modules, internal and external bypasses, and redundancy to ensure clean, reliable power without interruption.
The new service program includes two different packages: IT and facility managers can choose a package with installation and startup services, or startup services only. The services are available during normal business hours, nights, weekends, and holidays in order to eliminate or reduce system downtime.
