Mark Ascolese Joins Active Power as Senior VP of New Business Development

Active Power Inc. (Austin, TX) has announced that Mark A. Ascolese, a well-known UPS industry veteran, has joined the company as senior vice president of new business development. Ascolese will focus on advanced technologies, be responsible for establishing further strategic partnerships and developing additional new OEM sales channels.

Since 1985, Ascolese has held executive-level positions at Invensys PLC's Power Systems Division, most recently as president of global accounts.
