Magnetek Inc. (Chatsworth, CA) announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Norvell Electronics Inc. (Carrollton, TX). The distribution agreement enables Norvell Electronics to market Magnetek's complete range of power-electronic products to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) throughout its markets in the southwestern US.
"Historically, Magnetek has primarily been a manufacturer of advanced, custom power supplies for individual OEMs," said Antonio Canova, executive vice president of Magnetek's Power Electronics Group. "We have recently expanded our line to include a range of modular, industry-standard, power supplies and subsystems designed to be sold through distribution to many electronics OEMs. With its strong customer focus and excellent market penetration, Norvell is an ideal marketing partner for us."
