Infineon Selects Agilent's 93000 SOC Test System

August 05, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Agilent Technologies Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) announced that Infineon Technologies has selected the Agilent 93000 SOC test system to test its advanced semiconductor devices for high-speed wired communication applications. Infineon's wired communication semiconductors are found in high-speed switching and routing systems at the core of the global telecommunications network.

The upgradeable Agilent 93000 scales up to 10Gb/s performance, providing a long-term test solution for Infineon's communication product roadmap. Additionally, the large installed base of Agilent 93000 systems among semiconductor contract manufacturers and contract test houses gives Infineon the flexibility to outsource production test of the devices as necessary.
