ICE Components is Relocating it’s Corporate Offices and Distribution Facilities

July 24, 2006 by Jeff Shepard

ICE Components, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the relocation of its corporate headquarters to Atlanta, Ga. The move will include relocation of Senior Management, Customer Service, Sales, Accounting, Finance and Distribution operations. ICE issued the following statement about the relocation decision:

"Moving our corporate headquarters to the Atlanta area is essential to the continued success of ICE for a number of reasons. Atlanta has one of the lowest costs of doing business of any major city in the USA, helping ICE to control costs now and in the future. The opportunity to attract and retain the best management team from Atlanta's excellent pool of experienced executives and engineers was a key reason for the decision. In addition, the move to a major transportation hub will make it easier for ICE to enhance distribution services."

"Assuming we complete the necessary construction on time, we expect to complete the move by early September. The move should have very little impact on our customers operations. We will contact customers directly with details of the move. We look forward to the enhanced efficiencies and new opportunities that will result from establishing a new corporate headquarters in Atlanta to complement our significant operations in Taiwan and China."
