March 26, 2013 by Jeff Shepard

Innovolt® Inc. announced an agreement with Graybar Electric Company, Inc. to distribute Innovolt's comprehensive electronics power protection and management platform through the company's North American distribution network. Graybar is a leader in the distribution of high quality electrical, communications and networking products, and specializes in related supply chain management and logistics services.

"At Graybar, we are dedicated to helping our customers power and network their facilities with speed, intelligence and efficiency," states Garry Acker, Graybar Vice President, Product Management. "By offering Innovolt's technology platform, we give our customers another way to better protect their equipment."

"Adding Graybar to our impressive portfolio of distribution channels is proof that many industries are quickly realizing the negative impact that power imperfections have on the bottom line," states Jeff Spence, president and COO for Innovolt. "Power disturbances can create a wide range of problems for a business and result in lost revenue and customers, decreased profitability and shortened asset life. By implementing the Innovolt technology platform, manufacturers and distributors increase the lifespan and value of their equipment, which leads to increased reliability and brand reputation."

Since 2009, Innovolt has provided patented and proven electronics management technology for hundreds of millions of dollars of installed systems, mainly in the commercial and industrial markets. Responding to the increasing need for enhanced power protection, Innovolt expanded its reach to new geographies and industries that rely on valuable electronic equipment which, if left unprotected, is extremely vulnerable to external and internal power disturbances.

Even the highly sophisticated technology being developed and deployed in today's marketplace is still at the mercy of a faulty and unreliable power supply. According to the Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI), power disturbances cost U.S. industries as much as $188 billion per year in lost data, material and productivity.

Innovolt's solution proactively manages electronic assets at the outlet level and prevents costly service issues before they negatively impact business. Additionally, the solution equates to maximum equipment reliability and performance rates, as well as decreasing customer service calls, labor and part costs and overhead.
