EnerSys Inc. (Reading, PA) announced that it has acquired Hawker Battery Japan, a division of Densei Lambda (Tokyo, Japan), as of December 20, 2002. The new organization will be known as EnerSys Japan and will be headquartered in Tokyo. The acquisition reinforces Enersys’ position in the Asian market.
