Cummins Inc. (Columbus, IN) announced the appointment of Robert Sonntag as Vice President - Worldwide Power Generation Operations. Sonntag will assume responsibility for strategy, capital planning and functional excellence for manufacturing operations within the Power Generation Business Unit. Sonntag is currently Executive Director - New Product Introduction and Heavy Duty Consolidation in the company's Engine Business Unit. He will transition to his new role in the Power Generation Business Unit during the first quarter 2003.
