Ballard Power Systems Inc. (Vancouver, BC) recently filed with regulators to issue about $200.0 million in new stock. The company said it intends to use proceeds from the common share offer for commercialization programs with strategic partners, as well as research and development efforts on a variety of fuel cell projects.
