Ballard Delivers $1.6 Million Worth of Fuel Cells to Nissan

Ballard Power Systems (Vancouver, BC) announced the delivery of the Mark 900 Series fuel cell power modules, valued at $1.6 million, to Nissan Motor Co. (Japan). The new Ballard Mark 900 Series incorporates Ballard's latest-generation fuel cell stack, which utilizes low-cost materials and is designed for manufacturing in automotive volumes.

“Nissan continues to test and develop alternative propulsion technologies using Ballard's fuel cells," said Ballard Chairman and CEO Firoz Rasul. “Nissan has been a customer of Ballard since 1991, and we are pleased to build on our long relationship."
