Argus Trio TR32 System Passes NEBS 3 Compliance

October 01, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Argus Technologies Ltd. (Vancouver, BC) announced that its Trio TR32 compact system has passed the final tests and achieved Bellcore Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) level-three compliance, which is used for mission-critical network applications and ensures maximum equipment operability. The Trio TR32 system is comprised of rectifiers, distribution and a supervisory module in a three-rack-high unit module.

"We plan to have all core Argus products NEBS-compliant for the market by the end of 2002," said Mark Snider, vice president of marketing at Argus. "This particular unit has been designed for limited space installations. Like the rest of the Trio Series, the TR32 is completely modular and front-accessible. The demand for this type of space-saving product is high right now. Network suppliers are using our Trio systems to extract economic advantage from existing installations, rather than spending money to house larger units."
