Advanced Power Conversion plc (APC, Farnborough, England) announced that it has formerly changed its name to Powerstax plc. All company details, including bank details, are unaffected. The change in name was officially launched at the Electronica 2004 exhibition in Munich, Germany. The Powerstax name is the new banner under which all the APC power products will be sold in the future.
The Powerstax range demonstrates the company's capability to build complete power systems using high power density ac and/or dc products, intelligent controllers, and power distribution panels. Powerstax offers standard, custom or bespoke solutions from individual power units as a component part of a system to complete ac and dc systems.
