ABB Wins US Power Equipment Consulting Order

ABB Inc. (Zurich, Switzerland) reported that it has won an order to help International Transmission Co. (ITC) in the US manage its power transmission assets. ABB asset management services will help ITC track the condition of all its critical substation equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, batteries and relays. ABB will also help the company to schedule and track the status of maintenance activities.

ABB will help ITC manage assets, including 28 substations, 43 transformers, 700 breakers, more than 8,000 relays, 50 battery systems, 200 buses and 12 reactors. ABB will help with data collection, integration and analysis, decision-making, and work execution.
