Zettler Magnetics Intros AHI Series Power Transformers

Zettler Magnetics Inc. (Aliso Viejo, CA) announced its new AHI International Series power transformer, which has UL 1585 Class 2,3 approvals and meets the requirements of IEC EN61558-1. The AHI Series is designed with a UL-approved Class B insulation system that meets international standards.

The dual-bobbin, non-concentric design reduces inter-winding capacitance and eliminates the need for an electrostatic shield. Shroud and bobbin meet UL 94V-0 flammability requirements. Special features include specially designed bobbin wall slots that eliminate wore crossovers and an insulating shroud that provides 4200 Vrms Hi-POT dielectric strength.

The AHI Series is designed for use in office equipment, ac power supplies, HVAC and consumer appliance markets. The AHI Series is available in 2.5 VA, 5 VA and 10 VA output configurations.
