Yageo Corp. (Taiwan) announced its new X2Y Series of multi-layer ceramic capacitors, designed for EMI filtering of dc motors and high-speed data-line filtering applications, which are available with capacitance values from 10pF to 1µF with ±10 percent or ±20 percent tolerance levels and voltage ratings from 10V to 100V.
The capacitors have a maximum dissipation factor <0.05, equivalent series inductance <50pH, a minimum insulation resistance of 10 gigaohms, and are rated for operation over the -55 to +125 degrees C temperature range.
The capacitors are available with NP0 dielectric material with 0603 and 0805 casings, while another version features X7R dielectric material with 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210 and 1812 casings.
